More 3D Printers in the News…10x Market Growth Forecast

Posted by crimsonlanguage on 2013/04/09

A couple of weeks ago, I pointed readers to medcity articles on the emerging medical uses of 3D printers:

Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal offers further practical examples of this technology in use:

ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 are conspicuously absent from the websites of two of the largest suppliers (Stratasys and 3D Systems) – if you are considering integrating these suppliers into your manufacturing process, then you’ll likely need to conduct your own audit.

Another MedCityNews article offers projections of 3D printing growth in the healthcare industry (from current $777 million to $8.4 billion by 2025, according to Luxe Research):

OK…that’s it…I’m done writing about 3D printing for a while  🙂
